What is London Technology Week?
London Technology Week is a week of face-to-face events celebrating London’s global position as ahotbed of tech innovation, business successes, entrepreneurship and creative talent.

In 2014, more than 40,000 people from over 40 countries came together for 203 events held at venues across the capital. Events ranged from large international conferences to intimate workshops, face-to-face investor meetings, pitching competitions and hackathons, covering a huge variety of topics including gaming, big data, IT, wearables, education, music, sport, fashion, finance and science.

London Technology Week is unique. No other festival of live events brings together as many domestic and international tech specialists and enthusiasts to London for such a variety of networking, social learning and business opportunities.

What’s new in 2015?
London Technology Week 2015 will build on last year’s phenomenal success by introducing a programme of headline events focused on six themes:

  • talent & education
  • innovation & growth
  • investment & funding,
  • coming to London & going global
  • diversity
  • social impact

Headline events will take place each day and feature leading tech superstars and pioneering tech companies from around the world.

We will also continue to welcome fringe event submissions from a whole host of verticals including madtech, entertainment, enterprise, fintech, edtech, design, gaming, health, travel, retail and security.

London Technology Week 2015 has also been extended to encompass the weekend allowing consumer, cultural and social events to take place outside of the working week with Monday-Friday focused on tech as an enabler for business growth, innovation and disruption. This structure ensures there is something for everyone, regardless of what format or themes appeals to them.
