The Great Fire began in a baker's shop in Pudding Lane on the 2nd September 1666. This Sunday 4th September at 8.30pm, the most amazing 120ft (37 metres) floating sculpture, designed by the artist David Best and built on to barges by hundreds of schoolchildren and unemployed young people, will be torched.
